Description: Works for string orchestra covering a period of 30 years with only one, the Intermezzo of 1973, being from the composer's early, avant-garde period (although the witty 1964 Capriccio makes use of similar techniques, the good humor plainly evident makes it seem much more easy on the ear). The two Sinfoniettas are 1992 and 1994 transcriptions of, respectively, the String Trio (1991) and the Clarinet Quartet (1993).
