Description: Sehested has appeared before with cello/piano pieces on an out-of-print Dacapo release and her 1896 sonata, a full-scale work of 30 minutes in four movements, in very attractive late Romantic style, is the major work here. Liebmann's variations, published in 1911, is even more conservative while Moe's Studies (no date given) are close to the vein of high quality salon style. Cathrine Penderup (piano).
